Sonyalpharumors says there might be a new camcorder from Sony at NAB. No details, but it's not the rumored 4K DSLR (that's supposed to be launched after NAB).

(SR4) Sony 4K camera rumor correction: Not coming at NAB show but at Photokina? | sonyalpharumors (http://www.sonyalpharumors.com/sr4-sony-4k-camera-rumor-correction-not-coming-at-nab-show-but-at-photokina/)

Anyone have a clue as to what Sony might have up their sleeve?

One good bet is the pro version of the AX100

I would put my bet on a PMW-330 or PMW-370. A fullsize shouldermount 1/2" 50 Mbps 4-2-2 cs. camcorder that forms an upgrade/successor to the PMW-320. As did the PMW-400 to the PMW-350. That would be my guess.

Both of these suggestions make sense.

It's not a question if there will be a new Sony camera, it's a question of how many.....just look at the NEX line...they're like rabbits!

You gotta expect a "pro" AX100 sister with XLR top handle.

How about an entry level super 35mm 4k "xx-100"? You know Sony needs a "100 model" cheap 4k camera to fill shoes of the FS100

ENG 4k? Maybe a 3 sensor 4k model for the event news market? Maybe a PMW200 style 4k fixed lens?

All are really good guesses.
