View Full Version : Deleting New Blue "Starter Pack" FX

I must, at some point, have downloaded and installed a New Blue FX pack called "Starter Pack" as these are showing up in Sony Vegas Pro and are unlicensed.

I want to delete them but this bundle doesn't show up in Control Panel -> Programs and Features (unlike others that I own, Motion Effects / Motion Blends, and Essentials 3 and Essentials 6)

Any ideas how I get rid of them?

Cheers
Dave

Starter Pack is a part of Titler Pro. When you install Titler Pro, it will also install the Starter Pack effects and transitions. These are free for you to use in Titler and in your NLE timeline.

If you are seeing a watermark in the Starter Pack, please update to the most current build of Titler Pro 3.

I'm not getting a watermark but they show up as being trial versions (14 days left etc); I just installed TP3 so I'll go and check again.

Thanks.

As long as you're using the OpenFX version and you have the most current build of Titler Pro 3 installed (the initial release had an issue where the Starter Pack was not activating with Titler Pro 3), all will be fine. So please do update to the newest build. Just open Titler Pro and go to Help - Check For Updates.

It's still not happy. Titler Pro 3 (standalone & plug-in) insists it is the most up to date version.

When I add a Starter Pack effect (eg Coloured Pencil), it shows up with "Activate" showing at the top. Clicking on About brings up the "Enjoy Your Free Trial" dialogue telling me I have 12 days left.

When I cancel that, I get the NewBlue Stater Pack About dialogue which says it's Version 1, Build 131126. Clicking Check for Update tells me there's a new "Titler Pro 2" (yes, 2) available that I should download.

I tried downloading and installing that, followed by reinstalling Titler Pro 3 but still the Starter Pack remain inactive. Titler Pro 3 itself appears to be running fine.

I also tried uninstalling all the Titler Pro versions - but the Starter Pack effects still showed up in Vegas :-(

Help!

David, I had updated the "Check for Updates" file but I'm not sure it properly copied to the website. I have copied it again. The current build as of right now is 140516 for Windows.

I'm having the same issue in Edius - and when I ask titler pro 3 to check for updates, it tells me it's up to date. Is there a version I should download?

Rob, please contact NewBlue Support.

I assume you are using Titler Pro 3 from the old product line. The newest build was 141009

http://www.newbluefx.com/downloads/Windows/NewBlueTitlerProForWindowsSetup30-141009.exe

Under the new product line, the newest build is 150204 but it will not use the same serial numbers as the old product line and there's multiple versions available.
