Just saw this new cam
The specs look fantastic for the price

I'm actually quite excited about the capability of this camera as a replacement to my Sony nx5
What do other people think ..?

Personally I think its garbage, two reasons.... sensor is way to small for 4K & it's color sample is 8 bit 4:2:0 .... Panasonic dropped an egg on this one.

Already being discussed on another thread... and at the moment Panasonics promo videos don't make the camera look at all "attractive". Specs are only part of the equation... you have to deliver image quality.

well judging from what I saw so far it looks like a good replacement of the canon xl1 , but only because it uses cards instead of tapes.
