My computer was taking forever to shut down (Windows 7), so I turned off the power switch. Now all I get is the intel emblem and no bootup. I even unplugged it. Is the computer mad at me? I can't get it to do anything.

It was probably doing Windows updates and usually warns you not to shut down during this process. Try starting up and tapping the F8 key to get into 'Safe mode' then do a Windows system restore.
