I have a Solid Camera PL to E-mount adapter I've used on FS100 and FS700's. It's shimmable- but not likely something you'd do in the field- unless you had too, without the proper tools. It mounts securely to 15mm rods.

"...the increase in rental cost over the C300"

Someone is taking advantage of you, Art. There's no way a $7999 camera should cost more to rent than the $11,500 C300.

Here is Northern California, I can rent the FS7 at borrowlenses for a week for $449, while the C300 is $754.

Otherwise, great article.

Best,

Bill
