I just bought a JVC HM750 so as to avoid the cmos problem with strobes. However the 750 has the vertice smear problem with bright lights as you can see here http://youtu.be/JRmh6MpWvOs . Now I am reconsidering that maybe I should have gotten a HM890. But I'd like to see some video of strobes going off with the 890 taping. I tried the Sony PMW320 but it was very bad with strobes as you can see here http://youtu.be/Gnhmdtzc6H8

Can anyone tell me if the 890 will be any better in these two conditions?
