I have just spent two weeks in China on a family holiday and brought along my Sony RX10.
I wanted a small camera with fixed lens so the RX10 was the choice.
I also wanted to test/use the camera in semi auto mode: fixed shutter.
So ISO, F-STOP and also focus was set as auto, something I never do but needed to test this.

Sony are just about there with this style of camera and I hope that they can develop the next version with a few tweaks that I need.
1: Please make the LCD screen flip around so I can frame myself doing a PTC.

2: Upgrade internal colour space to 4:2:2

Thats it, this camera is so good for Video Journalism etc…

I had some time after my gig last night while waiting for a lift home so I thought I would do a quick ISO test. I thought someone might be interested.

The street was very dark and hard to see even with the naked eye.

f2.8
Shutter PAL: 1/50
Picture Profile: Neutral -3: -1 :0

While on a break I shot a small amount of video with the RX10 and some time lapse.
