I've come to once more seek advice- not quite sure if this is the correct forum to post in-
Basically we're planning to shoot in HD in a travel style format- thing is the production/editing office will be based on one location

Just wondering if anyone has any experience shooting in this manner and what would be the best way to get footage back to the editors? If say we're shooting in HD would it just be better to fed ex tapes back? or would it be better to capture first and then maybe use some kind of dedicated server?

I would REALLY love to hear any input on this!

Send the tapes.

Or...if you want to be able to see how it looks, keep the tapes, hire an assistant editor to capture the footage on location, then fed-ex a hard drive back and forth.
