I'm on the market for a slim and portable on-camera LED light.
- I want something thin and slim (depth) so I can keet the light in my camera bag.
- I want something that is not too big (height, width) so an iPad-size light would not do.
- I'd like something with a high CRI so I don't have to worry about a green tinge or I don't have to keep an array of color-correction filters.
I would use the light mostly for interviews and objects at close range, either as a fill light outdoors or to improve lighting conditions indoors. I'd pay up to $200 CAD
I saw the Vidpro Professional, but it's quite thick for what I'm looking for:

The Aputure Amaran AL-H198, the ikan iLED 144, and the Genaray LED-6500T are all equally thick.
There is a thinner Vidpro Ultra-Slim LED-150 which seems to have little power:

There is also a Luxpad 22 Pro Ultra Thin 11W on AliExpress and Alibaba (not a good endorsement), sold also on Amazon under different (cheapo) brand names: Neewer, NG, PLThink, Nanguang, with negative reviews all over the place. Slim and portable, which is nice, but it doesn't seem to do the job (unless people here have had a different experience).
Any input on possible candidates? Any opinion on the models above, for or against?
