I am looking for some ideas about how to shoot the renovation of a building for 16 months, the length of the construction. My client wants to shoot the progress of the construction. i was thinking of installing some cameras to capture this. Anyone have any ideas of how to accomplish this?

I used a 'Game camera" from Amazon (£70) recently to do a 3 day construction project. Shoots time lapse with selectable delay up to 12Mp, takes 32Gb MicroSD, 8 x AA batteries or optional mains convertor. I used 7 second interval then converted to .mov with free Time Lapse Assembler and finished off in FCPX. PM me for Vimeo link.

Hi Robert. Horribly late to this but it might help others.

I started and 18-month timelapse project in February and wrote about how I did it here: We’re giving a new life to an old laptop! – Campervan Films (http://www.campervanfilms.co.uk/2017/02/16/were-giving-a-new-life-to-an-old-laptop/)

Initial results are excellent.
