Hi All

Mark Owens brought this up a week ago so wondering if anyone has a solution? If you use the FZ to record to a Ninja or similar via HDMI it does a perfect job as you can clear the screen icons using the display buttons. However if you set a focus square, the camera seems to keep it on the display at all times and it's not able to be made invisible!! The 4 x corner icons therefore appear out of the HDMI output which is not what you want. If you change the focus method back to 49 point all is good again

Anyone notice this or found a solution???

Another thing I noticed during a test broadcast yesterday to sort out a few bugs was that we had the FZ1000 running battery only for over 2 hours and it was obviously down to being close to exhausted when the live video showed the flashing red "battery warning" block in the top right hand corner of the video. So if your battery runs low and that warning comes up then it also gets sent to the HDMI output too!

Just letting people know who are using the HDMI output
