Hi, I am thinking of upgrading and using the Apollo to record the live events I produce. Been happy with the NanoFlash at 50 mbps. Any plans to have a Apple ProRes 422 (LT) 10-bit 422 TCC recording at 50mbps?

My next event is 9 hrs a day for 10 days so lots of data. The end products is web based.

Thanks, James

Well, they added Proxy support in the latest firmware and at 1080p30 that's 45mbps per stream.

Dear James,

I am sorry, by I missed your August 1st post.

Yes, we have added Apple ProRes 422 Proxy.

This is a variable bit-rate codec, and among other things it depends on the frame rate you are recording.

Up to 1080p30, this should be less than 50 Mbps.

So please try using our new Proxy mode.

You will need to upgrade to 2016.10.1641 to use our Proxy mode.

Please feel free to call me.

Seven one nine --- nine three zero --- one three seven six

Respectfully.
