It doesn't matter if you never have touched a camera before, or if you are a professional veteran. UWOL is open for everyone. An important aspect is the process of giving/ receiving feedback, which leads to the ultimate goal of UWOL: To make each and everyone of you better film makers, by pushing your limits and improve your own skills.

Notice:
As discussed a few months ago, this round we will try out a new procedure and extend the challenge by one month. If successful, this procedure will be repeated one or maybe two times a year.

Theme release: March 1, 2017 - Notice that signup closes prior to theme release.
Deadline: April 30, 2017, midnight wherever you are


NEW PROCEDURE FOR UWOL 42:
From March 29, until April 6:

1. Players will be allowed (encouraged, but not required) to upload their temporary/ "work in progress" films to Vimeo.
As always, upload instructions should be requested from uwol@dvinfo.net
2. Players who upload their temporary films, can then make their feedback threads to receive inputs/ ideas/ feedback.
3. All players are encouraged to comment in the feedback threads, regardless of you upload your own film or not.
4. After April 6, the temporary films will be deleted from Vimeo, and we resume the standard procedure of uploading the finished films before the final deadline of April 30.

my fx 1000 was sent for repairs 2 days ago.

so with computer up and running and cameras fixed and lots of time as i cant do any physical work for 3 months. god willing i will submit something.

Hi Owen, same here and then I made the mistake of thinking "I won't put my hand up, I never get there anyway" but we've just got to keep trying and get one in the bag and then the next one will be easier, we'll be more motivated - I hope so anyway.
