Dear Friends,

Our Convergent Design Raw Bundle is now $500 Off for a Limited Time!
The current price is $495 (in US Dollars), normal price is $995.

We have led the way in supporting a wide variety of Raw Cameras in our Odyssey7Q and Odyssey7Q+ Monitor/Recorders. To this day, Convergent Design provides the best Raw support for the widest array of cameras. Nothing else comes close.

Many Raw cameras do not support recording of Raw internally. Thus Convergent Design added an option to support these cameras. Most importantly, Convergent Design’s Raw Bundle supports recording in Raw mode (for the ultimate in image quality and flexibility) and
Apple ProRes 422 in HQ, regular, LT and Proxy for a very quick and easy workflow. This flexibility allows one to use the wonderful high-quality Raw images from their camera in either Raw or Apple ProRes.

The Odyssey7Q and Odyssey7Q+ with the Raw Bundle are unique in supporting both Raw and Apple ProRes 422, in high resolution, including true 4K and high frame rates up to the limits of most cameras. These features have been field proven; one does not have to wait for a future firmware release.

Also unique is the Odyssey’s capability to take 4K Raw, then record it as Ultra-HD, 2K or HD.
When recording 2K or HD, the 4K is down-converted using Super-Sampling, which increases the quality of the images. Super Sampling is important, as the best images from a 4K camera are 4K, not the internally generated HD images, but many projects require HD. For many cameras, using the Odyssey + Raw Bundle is like getting a new camera.

While it is called a Raw Bundle, it also supports a very important feature: Dual HD Recording.
One can monitor two HD streams simultaneously, and record to two separate SSD’s.

One Odyssey7Q/Odyssey7Q+ with the Raw Bundle can do more than two regular monitor/recorders. It is very effective being able to record your signal, while monitoring and recording the second camera from your position, with the full feature set of the Odyssey.

You can check exposure, focus, white balance, color matching of the two cameras, and more with just one Odyssey and the Raw Bundle. This is especially helpful when mentoring a less experienced camera operator, or when using two cameras with just one operator.

The Raw Bundle in Dual Recording mode supports most any HD camera, using HD-SDI or HDMI or a combination.

The Raw Bundle, when accepting a Raw signal, supports the Sony FS5, FS7, FS7 Mark II, FS700, Canon C300 Mark II, Canon C500, ARRIRAW in 16:9 and 4:3, Panasonic Varicam LT,
IO Industries and Indiecam cameras.

In announcing this sale, Convergent Design is also announcing that they will not be obsoleting the Odyssey7Q+ by introducing a replacement model at NAB 2017. The Odyssey7Q+ has been very well received and widely used on high-end projects due to its many professional features and exceptionally clean OLED display. LCD’s are not a substitute for OLED’s.

There are no other products that have all of the features and functions of the Odyssey7Q+,
nor the expandability to add future options. For example, the Apollo Option adds support for up to four HD cameras, with live switching, with dissolves, and more. The Titan option adds three HD Extraction windows from a single 4K/Ultra-HD camera.
