Hi guys after seeing a decent offer on this cam i needed to upgrade a safe camcorder to go with canon dslrs 80d and c100. To match canon colours is there a decent picture profile to match the two? new to sony

My opinion is that the AX-100 does not give you much control over the color settings. How well the two cameras will match up without making any adjustment.... I don't know, never even compared against any of my Canon dSLRs (50D, 7D, 6D). Sorry, not much help here. I would expect the PXW-70 might do better with the color/image adjustability.

From my memory, you can do a grid adjustment of the hue of the white balance on the AX100. Maybe not perfect, but you could add or subtract blue/orange & green/magenta.

For clarity, I was speaking about doing the white balance adjustment on the AX100.

Since each camera can have a profile and someone else's preset may have nothing to do with the profile of your reference camera, the best way is to learn how to do this.

Pick one camera and its profile as your reference.
Point both cameras to a common video reference chart such as a Passport Video Chart. Make sure you use a high CRI/TLCI light.
Look at both on scopes.
Adjust picture profile of one to match the other.

Alternately shoot the chart in the field on location and adjust in post (as a colorist would do to match cameras). Otherwise you need to adjust using a "hero" shot from one camera.
