I just got the the Hoodman HD350 LCD hood for for my HM200 and LS300. In full sun I find the LCD very usable with the hood. The latest firmware allows for higher LCD brightness and backlight levels if needed. I've been using my Zacuto EVF when outdoors and using the the hood instead will lighten my rig.

They've been making nice tweaks and additions to this cam all along and, for me at least, because of outdoors use, this is good news.
