I am going through my old footage using it as editing and colour grading practice. I have recently watched the one hour video that Denver Riddle (colorgradingcentral.com) has up on Youtube and found it very helpful. I don't seem to be getting out shooting much, alas, so old footage is my alternative.

While we lived in Peterborough, ON, we would often go for a Tuesday morning walk with other parents from the school my son was attending. Even in the cold, these were often very pleasant. I had my iPhone 4s with me this day, so all this footage is handheld and from a very small sensor.

I tried to edit it after I shot it, but could not get a decent result. I have gotten a result with which I am much more pleased and after a couple of years, it makes for a good memory. It is a pity in comes in the very next thread after Rudy Wilms' spectacular footage of the Grand Tetons, do yourself a favour and have a look at Rudy's film, it's great!.
