I have a question.
I have 102Gigs of Digitized 8MMfilm that was taken by my Father-In-law. It’s on my computer ready for editing.
My question is:
Would it be better, and is it possible, to edit with chapters with the ability to play like a DVD and put them on a large Flash Drive rather than burn them onto, I’m guessing now, 20 or more DVD disks.
Which would be expensive.
I know manufacturers are now starting to include USB ports with their TV’s. I was discussing this with a friend and thought I would ask this community.
Any help and advice would be appreciated. Open to all suggestions
Thanks in advance for all your input.

Define expensive...
My "gold standard" Verbatim DVD+R are 30 cents each
For personal projects that are not archive type, generic DVDs are 20 cents each

Best, 1TB pocket USB drive, around $60, UHD, most modern TVs can handle. DVDs have advantages: Lose one, you still have all the rest, granny knows how they work. But you'll have backup(s) anyway.

With the prices of USB flash drives falling and capacity increasing, I deliver everything on USB. They can be played on multiple devices, from very large screen televisions to smart phones.
