Hello everyone,

Last patch introduced a resource leak that caused several problems. So, this bug fix is a high priority, fixing:

- Fixed a UI resource leak that could lead to sluggish performance and/or application crash

- The Color picker no longer inadvertently moves the VEGAS window to the background on Windows 10

Thank you for the update. Couple of questions:

1. It may have already been discussed, but is there a reason why we are we no longer receiving notifications of new versions in the app itself? I just clicked on About/Check for News and was told 'There are no news items to display this time'. I assumed 'check for news' was a broader replacement for 'check for updates', but perhaps I'm mistaken. I was wondering how users who don't frequent the forums are made aware of new versions.

2. In the latest version release notes it mentions that the resource leak issue was detected immediately after the previous version was released. Was this information immediately shared with the user base and if so through what medium? Rather than let users struggle on not realising that it was a fault with the software rather than anything else it would have been good to have the opportunity to revert to the previous build.

I have an account in the Magix Service Centre and all my products and serials are listed there, including Vegas 15. I am also a beta tester. The email address is current.

Are other people getting automatic notifications of updates (through the Vegas app)?

Not know for sure why the notification is 'late'...
But, will report this to developers. Since you are the beta tester, you can also notify them as well.

I just checked from my version of Vegas 15 and it reports nothing new.

I have just tried to install Build 321 and have got the message:

'Setup has detected that the system is currently waiting for a reboot to complete a previous installation or update. To avoid problems, please reboot your system before installing.'

So I rebooted...and got exactly the same message....thus cannot update...

Weird... how about Uninstall and then install build 321 ?
