Hi folks

It's not mentioned in the manual. When I google this, not much comes back other than some people saying I need to get an adaptor on the multi connector. Yet other people say no need.

So where is the Lanc connection on the Z150?

Norman

The Z150 does have a standard LANC connector and it is located just below the headphone jack.

Hi Doug

Thanks for the quick reply. The remote jack.

What threw me off is that the manual says "The REMOTE jack connects to a video
deck or other devices used to control playback."

2 ways to do it.
You can connect a 2.5mm controller to the remote port (back, under the headphones jack) but under the HDMI there is also a multi-terminal (USB) so you could use either a 2.5mm standard remote controller AND a second remote controller via multiport ( Sony rmvpr1 or fotga rmvs1) or you could even connect a standard 2.5mm remote to it with a multi to lanc cable ( Acebil Zoom Control Cable with 2.5mm to Sony Multi-Terminal that I use at the moment with a libec 3dv controller because I shoot both sony and panasonic and the libec gives both protocols).

for example 1 controller for zoom and a second controller for focus (say a focus puller?)
