Seems JVC forgot to tell people about there JVC GY-HM180 Ultra HD 4K Camcorder. Can't find any reviews or users with the HM180. I'm curious if they addressed the poor LCD quality of the previous versions?

JVC doesn't attract the same amount of attention Sony, Canon and Pansonic does when it comes to video capable camera's so probably not that many people buy one. I"m not sure if the HM180 screen is of poor quality but it seems like their lcd screens are their achillesheel as one of their more recent models, the LS300, also has a poor quality screen, it does however have excellent peaking so critical focussing is easy.

Thanks Chris, think I saw some Dvinfo guys near the Sprockit area. I was hoping to get a users review and perspective versus a JVC rep. Whats interesting is Youtube pretty much has everything except for a video "JVC GY-HM180 Ultra HD 4K Camcorder" - going to JVC product page its a bad copy and paste job from the HM170 previous specs.

Found the answer - someone posted a review on BH. Basically same LCD screen as the 170. Bummer.
