I am trying to properly set the CCD amplifiers on the head block of my HDW-F900/3 camera. I was able to get the color set to 3200K using a waveform and vectorscope, but, i am getting subtle horizontal lines on overexposed areas which is making me think i am loosing information/dynamic range in the image and the voltage is set to low. What tool can i use to properly set the 3 controls on the head block to the proper place in terms of voltage and then re color balance around those values?
For those wondering why i am doing all of this in the first place, when i received the F900 the amps were set way to high which was giving me unneeded noise in the signal (mostly in underexposed areas) to where 0db was looking like 6 or 9db.
I have to believe there is a skilled camera tech on this board who can come to my rescue. Thanks in advance!
