Hi all.I seem to have a little problem. Well I hope it is a little problem. I just formatted a friend drive for them and had re-installed everything. The only problem I'm getting is that there is no sound. Now, this is suppose to be an intergrated sound card, so there is no seperate card.
Now if there is an extra driver for the sound to work then it must have been wipped out when I formatted the drive. I've been trying to locate it on the net but can't seem to find it, if there is one. My friend doesn't know where the installation CD is as she bought the computer from another person.

The motherboard in question is a 845GV MS-7057 using ver. 1.0. If anyone is using this board or know of any direck links to the sound driver for this board, please let me know. I would appreciate it.

Hi Charles, I assume that board is manufactured by MSI? If so, then try the following link (but be sure to verify the manufacturer first)

And here's the relevant MSI product page:
