I just bought the QR7/14 adapter and a Dionic 90 battery for my HD100 and can't seem to get the runtime to display in the viewfinder. Any suggestions or others with the same problem? It says in the adapter manuel that it automatically senses the battery and adapter, but clearly it's not working for me????

Hi,
As far as I know JVC in cooperation with AB is working on this thing. You have to be in touch with JVC in your town re installing update into your camera and you will get all info in viewfinder. Meanwhile enjoy display on the Dionic 90 battery.

I have spoken to Anton Bauer about this and you do indeed need a firmware update to get this to work. How you get that update is another question...

Just an update for anyone else out there that has the same problem getting realtime display with the AB adapter; straight from the JVC Tech Support today. There is apparently no firmware update that he knows of. Infact, he hadn't even heard of such a thing but was happy to inform me that the JVC batteries would display realtime battery life- NOT! This link may be usefull to some of you if not the folks at JVC themselves.
