Finally we can work with 24fps with EDIUS Pro 3 , This update is free to all owners of EDIUS Pro 3, EDIUS Broadcast, EDIUS DVX/DVStorm XA, EDIUS NX, and EDIUS SP. Owners of EDIUS HD/EDIUS SD solutions should contact their Canopus System Integrator or the nearest Canopus office to obtain the appropriate software update.

Canopus was using the Charles Papert mini35 JVC HD100 footage to demonstrate this capability at DV Expo.

Seems like Canopus is really poised to make a move with the new HD cameras. They offer the best P2 integration for the HVX, and they are now the first to offer end-to-end HD100 24p integration too.

Here's to hoping the pending takeover of Canopus will not mean the dismantling of its technology development. Ever since the DVRex-M1 Yamada & co. have been at the forefront of developing innovative desktop editing solutions.
