Just thought I'd like to share a unique method of attaching filters to your GL-2 camcorder. I was rummaging through some of my 35mm camera gear when I came upon some Cokin filters http://www.geocities.com/cokinfiltersystem/
that I haven't used in awhile.

To attach the filter holder, a 52mm X 58 mm adapter ring is needed. Then the filters can be slide into the grooves of the Cokin filter adapter. http://www.flickr.com/photos/watermon/sets/72057594067530347/
