Where do you mount your wireless receiver on your GL2? There isn't really a place, or is there? Thanks!

Scott,
There is no good place on the GL2 to stick a receiver. Samson makes a system (http://www.samsontech.com/products/productpage.cfm?prodID=141&brandID=1) whose receiver mounts to the camera's shoe. Clipping the receiver to your belt is an often used method for these types of cameras.

I use a Mini Rover and a Mini Mate. Then sometimes I add velcro patches and additional brackets to the system. It looks like the Grapes of Rath Mobile but works great. http://www.videosmith.com/

I try to avoid hooking things to my belt that are wired to the cam unless I have to. I can get forgetfull and set the camera down or attach it to a tripod then walk away while the wire is still attached to the camera.... it gan get ugly as the cord tries to pull the camera down.

I fabricated a bracket that attaches between the tripod mount and the GL2. It provides a spot to mount both my Samson U32 wireless receiver and Studio One Box. They are both just to the right of the lens (while you're holding it). Don't obstruct access to any controls and make it really easy to grab the camera off the tripod and go without hanging yourself with cables. The Studio One box volume controls are easy to adjust on the fly since you can see them (harder when belt mounted)

I can send a pic if your curious.
