I have already searched the forum and found some old posts with recommendations for tripods. I just wanted to know if there are any latest/newer tripod(s) that work well with the PDX10. I will be doing interviews and lectures filming...andsome athletic instructional videos. Anyhow, I need a good tripod and lighting kit for my interview sets.

Any recommendations are appreciated.

If your interviews require and smooth pans or tilts then you need a good tripod and head, if not you don't.

Bascally there is not much new unless you are spending thousands. Just different deals on different tripod and head combos like those at B&H. A good set of Bogan legs and a 503 head will do you fine. Maybe $400.00 to $500.00 at B&H. Maybe this one:

Inexpensive lights-----check the web for Amvona! Nuff said.
