u wanna see some crazy stuff, throw on a canon 100-400L IS USM to a H1 with an EF adapter and youve got a 2880mm range...

i tell u one thing though, i wouldnt be hanging the camera body by the lens mount like this thats fer ser..

it's more bomber than most people realize, and the picture was snapped in about 30 seconds. the lens mount is very solid, if there's a weak link at all, it's in the adapter, which canon could have made way better, considering the applications....
