I had several great conversations and e-mails about why 2nd Unit has "slacked off" in interviews over the past month and so it's high time I address them. The short answer is workload. With El Papel the first feature/pilot having the success it has and the changes in media content "competitions" all the rage, we've been be-sieged by interest in going the television route and, to tell you the truth, this type of success really caught us off-guard. On network in particular we're in the final stages of negotiations with and we've now returned our interest to Season 3. But make no mistake, education is and always will be or top objective as it will be with out hppefully television partners. Keeping everything under wraps until the announcement has made shooting new episodes difficult with the interweaving of shows but we think we've gotten it figured out to the point both sides win. Plus, we have our commitments to our partners and supporters like Sony, Adobe and the rest to weave in and get their approvals but, at any rate, we start again next week with David Mullen, ASC and go from there but, depending on what happens with closing the negotiations this Friday, there might be some changes...all for the better as alot more doors open up. So, with success comes added responsibility and that's the reason 2nd Unit has slowed down over the last few week. But, judging from the number of e-mails and personal conversations, your interest hasn't.

Television takes care of alot of things but there's a marked difference between the TV crowd and those who are faithful professionals of this forum. So that's what I meant!!!
