Strange recorder flaw???
We recently shot a concert using 6 cameras and on one of the samuraii s there should have been only about 2 clips as the samurai was only stopped 2 times
When we looked at the files we saw there were over 200 clips!! It did not make sense??? We later discovered that all of our footage was there but there were these 200 plus still frames of video from random places. I am not sure how many were duplicated but it was the first time we have seen that. This was the first time we used them since the last upgrade as well but it only did it on one unit ?? Any thoughts guys??? |

Did that one camera happen to have an infra-red remote trigger switched active ?

Scott...it sounds like this is something Atomos needs to investigate, you might want to get a hold of the support group to see if this is a known condition. Maybe it's an isolated occurrence, or possibly a larger issue. I've never had the issue, but that doesn't mean it's not lingering in the background waiting to pounce.

Re: Strange recorder flaw???
I've experienced a similar issue with a Ninja 2 and C100. It didn't record quite as many single frame files, but more like one or two for every video clip recorded.
I've posted this on the Atomos forum as well, but haven't received a response yet. Did you ever find a fix for yours? |
