Mac can't read HDD, neither my Ninja 2

Purchased a Ninja 2 last week. Did some tests with a 1TB HDD inserted, which went well (apart from not taking 1080p from GH3).

Got the ninja running all day, till the HDD was full.

Now my Mac running on OS 10.8 does not recognise the disk. When inserting it back in the Ninja it is not recognised either. What may have happened?
