Premiere elements 8 and AVCHD smartrender???

any idea whether this program can join AVCHD clips without rerendering them and spoiling their quality?

Hello Khaled,

I do not believe that Premiere or Premiere Elements offers a "smart" rendering feature for AVCHD. I do not use the latest versions of either program, but the prior versions did not offer smart rendering, and I am pretty sure they have not added it yet.
