Sony SR11 Screen protection

I notice that on my relatively new SR 11, the LCD screen surface is starting to pick up marks that cannot be wiped off--scratches from fingernails etc. I wondered about using the same kind of after market screen films that are sold for PDAs. However since the the SR11 is a touch screen camera I wondered if applying another layer of screen protector film on top will reduce the sensitivity and effectiveness of the touch screen function. I suspect it will not but does anyone else have some experience with this?

Screen Protector

I use a product called "Camcorder Screen Protector" by a company called Micro-thin. Used it sense the camera was new about 10 months ago. Works fine. Comes with 3 covers, I am still on the 1st one but considering changing it out. The touch screen works fine with it on.

I have some sort of synthetic cloth that came with either an LCD monitor or an HDTV that works just great. It easily takes all of the fingerprints & dust off the cam LCD without making scratches.
I don't know exactly where I would get more, but it's out there somewhere.
