Joining clips taken with my GH1

I have just bought a GH1 ( great camera) but discovered the difference between taking lots of clips with this vs the old DV Panny tape camera i used to own.. when you come to play them back you dont get a continous playback but lots of separate clips. The included software (PhotoFunStudio HD vs. 3.1) says that you can join up to 90 clips together but doesn't tell you how to do it..
My problem is that the camera is the only way i've got of playing in HD back through my t.v. via the mini HDMI..
I've got a copy of Sony Vegas 9 for editing but can't get the editied clips to play from the SD card back through the GH1... the formatting is different..
Any help here would be greatfully received..
