Rolling shutter comparison...

Hello -

I realize the CMOS sensors are prone to the "rolling shutter" syndrome. But I was wondering how much difference, if any, there is between the Sony 550 series camcorders vs. the Canon Video DSLR's (5d mk2, 7d, 1d MK 4).

Is it better, worse with either or is the rolling shutter effect the same across the board?
