5.1 audio over HDMI using Blackmgic Intensity card at DVinfo.net

Does anyone know if the camera will transfer 5.1 audio using this card?

No, Intensity only accepts LPCM streams, not Dolby Digital, and the AVCHD camcorders don't output Dolby Digital at all.

My understanding is that the HDR-SR1 records 5.1, but you are right the specs clearly say that this card only supports 2 channel audio
