HDR-SR1 question...

I just read a part of the SR1 instruction manual that says about a folder on the HDD: "Do not try to open the AVCHD folder or access the contents of this folder from a computer. Doing so might damage the image files or prevent image files from being played back."... Then it says "Do not copy the files on the hard disk to the computer, operation is not guaranteed." Should I be worried at all about this? I do plan to use direct accessing if the picture motion browser crashes or is defective.
