Pinnacle Studio 11 supports AVCHD

Pinnacle has announced Studio 11 (consumer editor) and the Plus version and above support ingest and editing of AVCHD. A stopgap at $99 for folks while they wait for tools or something fun to work with. Release is in May.

Could potentially be a much better solution than the current Nero/Elecard/Cineform work arounds.
