Creating plasma wipes at DVinfo.net

Hoping to be the right section ...

I would like to create Plasma Wipe following the 'example of this tutorial:

Creating plasma wipes for Avid Media Composer - Final Cut Studio, Avid, Adobe, and Video Streaming

I followed perfectly (I think) the instructions, but no new transition appears, not even any Custom Folder that I created for the transitions.

The files that I created are 8 bits - grayscale - Raw format.
I tried changing the resolution (720 * 576 - 720 * 486 and others), but the result does not change.
Why? Where I'm wrong?

I would like also to use Avid Liquid Plasma Wipes in Media Composer converting files, but that does not seem possible.

My Media Composer Version is 5.037R
