Avid Xpress and Liquid

Avid Liquid is a step down from Avid Xpress, correct?

Well, that all depends. Liquid was a stand alone editor acquired by Avid. As such, it has some elements that XpressPro doesn't have, let alone Xpress. Go to www.avid.com and look at the comparision of the different versions.
