AVID LIQUID 7 -Help!!!

Hi guys,

I want your help -I use Avid Liquid 7
what would be the best option?: What codec should I use DivX or MPEG4 to get the best compression of the footage -e.g 3 hours on one regular DVD but still need to have good quality ???
what codec you choose to export a file , most...?
Thank you
Todd

Neither these WONT WORK in a disc authored with a DVD file system. Theyre nto compliant. th eonly kind of footage which is, is MPG2.. u dont have a choice..

HD DVD and BD is a different aregument, but with DVD, its MPG2... even though its crap and ugly, its the standard for the particular disc format..

Peter is correct. If you are going to create a DVD that will play in a stand alone player you don't choose the codec. You can go in and adjust the quality of the video by lowering the data rate. However with that much video you may want to break it out to 2 DVD's and not sacrifice so much quality.
