Yes, the new Liquid PM is a FAST guy. But, he's the one who would say nothing about the future. Claimed Avid NEVER talks about the future, which I pointed out was not true as there were multiple NAB announcements -- just none about Liquid.

It's good to hear that work is moving forward. A renovated Liquid would walk all over Xpress Pro.

However, I watched all the EDIUS tutorials today (http://www.canopus.com/support/tutorials/EDIUS.php) and I've got to say other than surround sound mixing, it looks to be very good. A real classic NLE that is perfect for broadcasters and long form work. Used with AE, as we did with the Media 100, and you've got a great setup.

Yes, 2007. I am going to ask them about this again in the next few months. If you want, go to their wesite and email them. The more pressure, the better.
