Exposed Down Under - January 2011 update

Welcome to 2011 and a new decade that will hopefully see many businesses grow and flourish.
Some of you may have heard about our workshop and the great success that was achieved in Sydney last year.
As this year it will be held in Melbourne, our vision is that the networking ties that have commenced around the country continue to flow on among our cohort of Melbourne producers and beyond.

Exposed Down Under (EDU) is a workshop designed to meet the needs of producer in the wedding event industry.
Our philosophy is collaboration not competition and one of our best resources are each other. The workshop is designed to share knowledge and provide attendees with opportunities to network with like minded people.
This year the workshop will be held in Melbourne from July 4th to 8th. It will be a full five day program

We have been fortunate to secure the following presenters:
• Ray Roman - International Award-Winning Celebrity and Destination Cinematographer
• Jason Magbanua - Jason Magbanua | Wedding Videographer
• Pieter de Vries - Pieter de Vries | cinematographer | camera craft educator
• Matt & Melinda Davis - Life Stage Films - One of the Top 25 Videographers in the World
• Konrad Czystowski - Krazy with a K's videos on Vimeo
• Dave Cowling – Wedding Video Sydney
• Abraham Joffe - Wedding Video DVD Sydney :: Abraham Joffe
• Peter Szilvester - Living Lens Blog

The week will be packed with presentation & talks + a full practical day at Montsalvat in Eltham.

So before you skip passed this, please ask yourself these few questions:
1. How much have I invested in gear?
2. How much have I invested in advertising?
3. How much have I invested in my own craft, both on the skill & business marketing side?

I have in the past wished I could attend a WEVA conference, knowing that it may not be likely that anything would happen on our shores. Well it is happening & it’s exciting to be a part of it.
It will be unlikely that this conference will be held in Melbourne for another few years, so I encourage you to take advantage of the opportunity to meet some of the most talented & acclaimed producers from around the world.

Feel free to visit the site – we are only catering for a maximum number of people and are filling quickly.

All times are GMT -6. The time now is 05:00 AM.
