300's HD DVD Director's commentary at DVinfo.net

I went ahead a did that Amazon deal for the $180 HD DVD player with Ten movies....

It came HD copy of 300, and while I'm not a big fan of the movie, I have to say the director's commentary is of the best and most informative I have ever seen.

They did this PiP thing where they show the original shots without chroma key or other effects side by side with the final result. Plus, it has a laid back and folksy Zack Snyder explaining exactly how they did all the shots. It's a killer combo. Even if you know how all the individual effects work, it's fascinating to see how they all came together.

So check it out if you get the chance.
