The argentian escape - indie movie

Indie moviemaker, Western Australian local, Stuart Bender's most ambitious project yet, will be screening at the Eighth Annual Action On Film Festival 2012 in California during August 2012.

I've previously linked to Stuart's earlier iterations in the past which were then listed on YT as "A S--load Of Action" After playing with small format videcameras and Letus adaptors, he has moved to the Canon 5D and 7D camera family.

Quote from the facebook entry "The action/adventure film I directed & produced called "The Argentinian Escape" will be screened in California in August 2012! Thank you to all of the filmmakers who contributed to putting this great film together. via Stuart Bender Films"

Re: The argentian escape - indie movie

Thanks for posting this uP, Bob! I remember trying to post in here a while back when I premiered the movie here in Perth but it seems there's a delay from signing up before being able to post.

In the meantime the film has picked up a couple of award nominations at the AOF festival, which I'm very proud of! Fingers crossed for next week

Cheers
Stuart

Relayed info from Stuart Bender.

QUOTE.
Thanks for the interest, folks! The film turned out great and sooner or later I'll have the whole thing up on the web for you to see. Some good professioanls on board in the editing, sound & music department this time and they're doing an even better job on the latest film which is int he final throes of post.

Short story at the festival is this: nominated for two awards; someone else won both categories. I'm planning to save up the beans so next time something like this happens I can show up in person.
END OF QUOTE.
