Deconstruction of editing via the Good, the Bad, and The Ugly

How editing can tell the story for you, with the example of the famous trio scene at the end of the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.

Its a great illustration of how editing can do a lot of the work for you as you create a film.

Funny, me and my two young boys watched this film the other day on broadcast, and couldn't move our eyes from the TV...
The cinema was THAT good..

Ironically, Eli Wallach passed away a few days ago..

Thanks for posting this -- moved to Awake In The Dark.

Yes, RIP Eli Wallach, what an amazing talent he was.

"For A Few Dollars More" was on HD Net last night and the wife and I could not tear ourselves away, despite having seen each of the Leone trilogy films at least a dozen times apiece already.
