Question.

Why is the regulation block needed here? I've seen Dtap to power pin work just with a straight cable.

This is compatible with 2.5k and 4k Cinema Cameras.

I really like that right angle though...

I think this is more for mounting directly to a battery and supplying 12v on the 3.5mm (I THINK...) connector to the camera and still providing a D-Tap for accessories.

I've had no problems connecting a D-Tap-to-3.5mm cable between an AB-Mount battery sled (with battery) and a BMCC2.5k either.
