Blu-Ray w/ uncompressed PCM 5.1 audio in DVD-A?

As the title suggests - I'm desperate to get a Blu-Ray authored for a film festival and NEED to get fantastic sound - preferably uncompressed PCM 5.1.

Vegas can export a nice WAV64 file from my 6 surround channels, but I don't think DVD Architect can handle this.

Has anyone tried this? Is my only option to use AC-3 at 640 Kbps?

Thanks in advance, Doug.

(I'm posting similarly in Premiere thread for the Encore users - apologies if this seems like cross-posting!)

You could check out Movie Edit Pro Classic - movie editor by MAGIX

There is a Dolby 5.1 option but it looks like you have to buy a plug-in.

I just downloaded it to try it because DVD Architect is giving me an error trying to burn a Blu-ray on Vista 64 bit. I just burned a BD-RE with it and no problems.

Had a quick look at MAGIX - but it looks like it only does Stereo PCM and Dolby 5.1 (like DVD Architect and Encore).

What I'm looking for is Uncompressed PCM 5.1 Audio - this doesn't need a dolby licence and doesn't require transcoding, so it should be easy to implement (and free!). Very frustrating - it's looking like only real pro software like Scenarist can do this sort of thing.

DVD Architect is ALSO giving me a Video Encoder Has Stopped Working error when authoring Blu-Rays on Vista 64 bit...

You can export 5.1pcm from Sony Vegas (along with your video as a M2V) then use TSmuxer (free download) to mux this over to a Blu Ray folder which will include the M2TS... then use Imageburn (another free downoad) to burn to Blu Ray disk. I have done this a few times now and it works fine.
