Could a monitor like this...

Viewsonic VX2260WM 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor in LCD Monitors at JR.com

be connected to a HDMI-equipped consumer BR player? I'm looking for a fairly portable way to show video demos in BR.

Looking at that nice thin bezel, I would be a bit worried about the "The Integrated Stereo speakers with SRS WOW HD stereo Sound complete the HD experience." I'd want separate speakers/amp.
